Roadtrip US Eastcoast incl. Washington, New York, Boston and Niagara Falls

In 2015 the idea came up to visit New York City once again but we were interested in Washington, Boston and the Niagra falls as well so the planning began.
This trip was not a pure planespotting trip but I managed it to visit some airports as well.
After  a few months the complete trip was fixed and we counted down the days

27SEP2015          HAJ-AMS-JFK-IAD
During transfer at AMS I got the Chance to spot prior Boarding.
I didn't took much Pictures during the flight but due to a canceled flight to IAD we had to spent 4 Hours in JFK which I used for planespotting as well.
The next days we spent at Washingto and did the usual seightseeing stuff.

29SEP2015: Washington DCA

As you can see the weather was bad on that day, but we were in the City and I managed to get a few aircrafts during their final Approach into DCA
On 02OKT2015 we used a Greyhound bus service to our next destination New York City! In NYC I didn’t went to any airport but therefore I got wonderfull pictures of the city
After one week in NYC we grabed a rental car and headed for our next destination BOSTON!
I looked for an interesting route but it was difficult due to traffic. I love the F-14 Tomcat fighterjet so I had to stop at Bethpage were the F-14 was build. In front  of their facility is a F-14 as a gateguard.

We drove forther on long Island up to Orient Point ferry were we took the ferry to New London. From there we drove further to Boston where we arrived in the evening.

11OKT2015         BOS
On this day I managed to have 3 hours of planespotting in Boston.  I found a place inside the terminal between Terminal B and C. I had to shoot through windowas but it was OK.

The next day we drove 760km from Boston to Niagara Falls on the canadian side. We stopped first at Schenectady County Airport were a small museum was loacated. There is also an Air National Guard C-130 base but without any movement at this time.
Next stop was Rome-Uthica. I heared that they were dismantling aircrafts in Rome, including a Transaero B777 but when I arrive I can’t find a way tot he Tripple seven. Neverless I found a much better beauty: a fresh painted B727-100 which was donated to a local university.
14OKT2015
We spend two days at the Niagara Falls and on our way tot he Airport of Buffalo I managed to stop at IAG Airport.
Before boarding I managed to take a few pictures at BUF as well during connection in JFK.
