Tivat / Montenegro : 16-19May 2019
In May 2019 I had the chance to spend 3 days in Tivat which I used for some planespotting as well ;-)

HAJ-TIV
Reg: OK-TVP B737-800 Smartwings

At the departure in HAJ it was raining. The flight was very smooth and Travelservice even offered a hot meal which was very tasty. After less than 2 hours we were landing from southern directions on runway 32.
My Hotel fort he days was the Regent Porto Montenegro which I can highly recommended! The traffic is very low but there are a few interesting movements. 2-3 times a day Air Serbia shows her ATR72, SU and S7 coming daily as well. Several other charterflights coming through out the days as well. Despite the fact that the traffic is not much, you have a beautifull background for pictures. In case the aircrafts coming in on runway 14 you can have some St. Martin like approaches. There is a Marina restaurant just below the flightpath. Sadly during my stay only one aircraft dis a 14 approach. In case the are pearting on 32 you can get a climbing B738 with a nice mountain in the background. The traffic of businessjets is also very interesting.

After breakfast I went to the harbour and nearby small town. There are small supermarkets were you can get some drinks and food very cheep.
In the afternoon I went to the airport for some spotting.

It was cloudy so I went to the airport at noon. The traffic was nice but the weather could have been better. A few taken off from runway 14, but only one SU B738 did the 14 approach. After aprox 2,5 hours it starts to rain so I went back tot he Hotel.
